This low bay light fitting has dual use ballast which will enable both sodium SON lamps and some types of metal halide HQI lamps to be used on the same unit making it ideal for using as a test light fitting so that you can define which lamp will suit your application.
The SON lamp is energy efficient whilst having a high output which makes it ideal for general industrial use where an orange/yellow light would be acceptable i.e. warehouse use. The Metal Halide HQI offers a clearer white light but is also very energy efficient. The fitting can be wired to a normal 3A fuse plug using 2 meters (max) of 1mm flex to test in a standard socket.
This light is suitable and commonly used in large retail and assembly outlets where detailed work is undertaken.
