The Latent-Lite has been developed in partnership with the Directorate of Forensic Services of the Metropolitan Police at New Scotland Yard, London. The Latent-Lite is the perfect finger print lamp intended for forensic applications.
This product is designed to connect to the various power sources as specified. Utilising its 20W halogen bulb and computer designed reflector it gives the best possible light output for detecting fingerprints, further enhanced by a borosilicate diffused lens.
Available Power Sources:
Canvas Power Pack This will operate the Latent-Lite for 4 hours. The most compact power source of the range, the canvas powerpack is a smaller solution to the NiMH powerpack. It runs from a 7 A/h Sealed Lead Acid battery encased in a lightweight but rugged casing with shoulder strap.
NiMH Power Pack For a longer running time a 9A/h NiMH powerpack is also available. It is lightweight (2.4Kgs) and will operate the Latent-Lite for approx 5.5 hours. It also has a holder for the unit, which is ideal for hands free operation.
