This Maxi 9000 fully rechargeable portable fluorescent floodlight can be directly mounted onto a powerpack or extension pole. Optional wattage tubes for varied light output and running times along with two independent ballasts which enable 1 or 2 bulb operation. The powerpack is made from unbreakable polyethylene plastic and also has a battery status indicator (green, amber and red). Also has 2 input/output power sockets.
This Maxi 9000 has silent running and poses no hazard threats thanks to not having any trailing cables, heat generation as well as being totally portable. It has a newly designed lamp head which is manufactured with a double skin polyethylene back casing and a polycarbonate front lens, making it extremely strong. The MAXI 9000 uses two fluorescent tubes and the electronics allows it to be fitted with 3 optional wattage tubes; 32W, 42W or 57W to give you the light output you require. using 2 x 57W tubes, it has a high output, giving up to 8600 lumens. it is fitted with a 42W and 57W as standard which can be operated on the single 42W or switched to 42W+57W to give medium and high light output options.
The light output is further increased by a mirror finished aluminium reflector which gives incredible light output. The power pack case is made from polyethylene plastic and, as a result, is highly robust. The unit uses a sealed lead acid battery (optional Ni-MH available) and is available in 2 sizes, 12V 24 A/h and 12V 38 A/h. It has green, amber and red LED battery status indicators and will flash red when the battery gets too low and needs recharging. It also has 2 input/ output sockets. These allow the user various options, i.e:
1. To use the lamp and other 12V DC equipment at the same time
2. To use the lamp and to recharge at the same time (optional 16A charger required)
3. To recharge / power the light from a generator for longer running times
4. To plug in an additional powerpack for longer running times.
